Político español y primer presidente de la Asamblea de Extremadura. Afiliado a la Unión General de Trabajadores (UGT) en 1973 y al Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE) en 1975, en 1983 fue elegido diputado a la Cámara regional por la provincia de Cáceres, siendo designado Presidente de la Asamblea de Extremadura hasta 1995.
